Reacher - L.A. Story / Unfinished Business

After a (bit too prolonged) trip to Los Angeles to set up the gun buy and trap the bad guys, the final two episodes of the series push Duffy (Sonya Cassidy) to bring the case to the ATF over  Reacher's (Alan Ritchson) objections. They quickly bench the group, set up a sting for the gun sale, and walk right into a trap set by Xavier Quinn (Brian Tee). Reacher manages to survive the blood bath, but the ATF is going to need some new guys. With the guard rails off again, Reacher turns his attention back on the family compound and revenge.

The end of the season gives us the shoot-out in the scrap yard, Reacher's extended rematch with Paulie (Olivier Richters) which eventually puts the much-teased oversized machine gun to work, Duffy completing her job to save Teresa (Storm Steenson) by shooting the gun-buying human trafficker she's been sold to in the dick, and Reacher's final confrontation with Quinn (who he shoots in the  head with a much higher caliber weapon this time around). It's not the most satisfying conclusion, with Quinn's death almost an afterthought to what came before, but it ticks the boxes and offers the obligatory epilogues between Reacher and Duffy, Richard (Johnny Berchtold), and Neagley (Maria Sten) before hitting the road once more.
