G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero - Silent Missions (Jinx)
Honoring the original "Silent Interlude" issue from G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero #21 from 1984, Image and Skybound are putting together a series of silent issue one-shots featuring different characters. G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero - Jinx #1 features the ninja sneaking into a Cobra facility and setting a bomb. Discovered, Jinx must fight her way out before being captured and make it out before the bomb goes off.
Honoring the spirit of the original by centering around a ninja sneaking around an enemy facility hits the right notes and the art from Dani makes terrific use of the color red found in Jinx's costume, the uniforms of the Crimson Guards she'll cut through on her way out, and the blood spilled. The counting clock is a nice touch as well as our hero makes it out, of course, at the final second having completed her mission.
