Fire & Ice: When Hell Freezes Over #1

A follow-up to Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville, a new mini-series kicks off with Fire & Ice: When Hell Freezes Over #1 setting the two heroes (who are struggling with their swapped powers) in New Kooey. Most of the issue involves showcasing the town and Ice struggling with not understanding her new more destructive fire powers. Fire seems a bit more in control but at a loss on what to do with her new ice-based powers.

All this leads up to a girls' night out with a few super-friends including Black Canary and Zatanna. Fire takes the opportunity to dig around in the magician's hat and pulls out a monkey's paw making a wish to restore the powers with the right bodies. This works, albeit with one pretty big caveat as now each woman is trapped in the other's body with powers they don't understand and can't control. It's a fun enough issue, although I don't know that I'll stick around for the whole series.
