Doctor Odyssey - Spring Break
The medical emergencies are mostly minor early on during Spring Break Week as Max (Joshua Jackson) spends most of his time deflecting the attention of three persistent young women (Paris Jackson, Ava Phillippe, and Charlotte Lawrence), although that eventually takes a dark turn with some spiked drugs and a case of scuba diving gone wrong, helping a young man with an embarrassing PGAD condition, and Avery (Phillipa Soo) taking interest in an overly-studious passenger (Kathryn Newton) whose mostly minor symptoms become hard to diagnosis.
While continuing to play on the love triangle setup, "Spring Break" also gives us a subplot of Tristan (Sean Teale) facing an issue of his own when his attempt to stop his heavy-drinking (brought up by a crewmate) only proves a drinking problem. While none of the cases were as close-calls like the shark attacks, having both Tristan and Max (who was exposed to the drugs) have short health scares added some extra drama to the medical suite. While Max's issue is short-lived, Tristan's understanding of his own problem appears to just be beginning.
