Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man - The Unicorn Unleashed
"The Unicorn Unleashed" gets a bit obscure in tapping and old Iron Man villain and repackaging it as a member of the crew we saw Spider-Man (Hudson Thames) take down in the previous episode who acquires the helmet from Doc Ock's () black market. Playing on the cliffhanger of Harry (Zeno Robinson) learning Peter's secret identity, he becomes Spider-Man's tech support which builds a friendship Peter than struggles to bring over into his real life to the consternation of Nico (Grace Song).
If you had given me 100 guesses for villains the series would use, I would have never come up with the Unicorn. That said, the out-of-control Mila (Sarah Natochenny) works well-enough as a street-level threat for Peter, even if we haven't seen his rivals up-level to costumes just yet. The B-story plays on Lonnie Lincoln (Eugene Byrd) struggle to keep his commitments to both the gang and the football team, getting pulled in a rumble with the rival Scorpions and earning some respect from the gangbangers which teases a tragic end for the football star.
