Reacher - Truckin'
Now installed in the house, Reacher (Alan Ritchson) snoops a bit after hours looking for the missing informant (Storm Steenson) before beginning his job as part of Zachary Beck (Anthony Michael Hall) crew. Paired with Angel (Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz), his first job involves looking into the kidnapping which requires some quick thinking on the part of Susan Duffy (Sonya Cassidy). Although successful, from Reacher's point of view, things end poorly for Angel who isn't the only member of the crew Reacher picks a fight with in the episode.
Most of the tension from the various parts of the episode are all around Reacher not getting caught. Although he makes it through the episode, including a second job transporting what looks to be legitimate merchandise for Beck, his confrontation with Angel afterwards suggests the clock is ticking on how long our hero can keep up the charade. The other notable moment in the episode involves a throwaway line from the over-talkative Angel which suggests while Beck is the public face of the organization he is not the man actually in charge. Would that be Reacher's old enemy Xavier Quinn (Brian Tee), or is there still a yet-to-be-revealed mastermind pulling the strings?
