JSA #4
Captured by the Injustice Society, Dr. Mid-Nite is able to escape her cell and snoop around a bit learning a few facts about the super-villains plans involving the Tower of Fate, Hawkman, and the Spear of Destiny. Unfortunately, after learning this (and doing a break good job at both fighting her way out and sneaking around), eventually the doctor runs into trouble she may not be able to handle alone.
The comic sticks mostly with Dr. Mid-Nite, revealing the villain's plans to the reader by what she overhears, but it also does reveal what has happened with Obsidian who is being kept in some kind of coma-induced virtual reality to keep him out of the way and under control. Jakeem might be there as well (or just another part of the illusion keep him controlled). Here the comic introduces a new member of the Society in Light who appears to be his jailer no doubt forcing a battle of light vs. dark before all is said and done.
