Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl

The latest from the Wallace & Gromit franchise involves Wallace's (Ben Whitehead) inventions of garden gnome robots, which Gromit is suspicious of immediately, being turned against him by Feathers McGraw who eventually uses the group to break out of the Zoo where he's been kept a prisoner since the events of The Wrong Trousers. After the gnomes are turned evil (because for some reason Wallace created them to able to be evil?) the group also ruin the inventor's name turning both the locals and police against him.

Vengeance Most Fowl is a solid Wallace & Gromit tale with a great final 20-25 minutes but it does take quite a bit of effort to get there after the novelty of the gnomes has run out and we're waiting for Feathers to make his move.

Sticking closely to the formula, Gromit makes the big saves, Wallace is often blissfully unaware of larger events and shocked when he's confronted by them, and Feathers and the gnomes provide proper antagonists to the movie (although Wallace's out-of-control inventing is also a bit theme to the movie). It's far from the best of the franchise, but fans should still enjoy themselves as lessons are learned and things are inevitably put right by the end.
