Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Mikey Does the Right Thing

The follow-up from the first episode of the series featuring a Leonardo adventure after being separated from his brothers, "Mikey Does the Right Thing" follows the same format opening with Mikey (Shamon Brown, Jr.) already in danger running from another killer robot with his hostage/frenemy Rod (Pete Davidson) who desperately wants to be a mutant. While Mikey agrees to make Rod a mutant in exchange for his help, he backs out on the deal accidentally creating Pigeon Pete (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) in the process.

As with the first episode of the series, "Mikey Does the Right Thing" is fun but mostly forgettable with a storyline mostly focused on one of the Turtles being forced to act alone without his brothers. Pete's unexpected creation is a fun little nugget for longtime fans. As for the robot, after being attacked by various animals at the zoo, including being mauled by a bear, Mikey makes short work of him and leaves with both Rod and Pete hoping to stop Bishop's attacks on mutants as the show will once again shift focus to a different Turtle in the following episode.
