Tied into the launch of Justice League Unlimited, The Question: All Along the Watchtower focuses on Renee Montoya being hired by the league to be the sheriff of the Justice League Watchtower while also looking into a feeling of some of the core members of something being wrong with the new version of the League (also foreshadowed in Justice League Unlimited #1).
Although I enjoy Montoya, I'm always going to prefer Vic Sage as the Question. That said, this role fits Montoya's version of the hero pretty well allowing her to play on her investigative background. Also, I like the Old West flair they've given the character in her new role within the DCU (although why Batman, the world's greatest detective, needs someone else to investigate isn't explained).
While setting up a mystery to be solved, the comic offers several cameos throughout including a pair of intimidating heroes who recruit Renee for the positon as well as Ted Kord and Jaime Reyes as apparently the Blue Beetles will be part of her support staff. And there's an Animal Man sighting as well. Sounds good to me.
