The focus of the second episode of the show's Second Season remains split. Although we see Jinx (Ella Purnell) make peace with Sevika (Amirah Vann) as the chem-barons war amongst themselves for control of the undercity, and breakdowns after she see's her sister leading a group of enforcers to kill her, her story doesn't advance much and given that no characters of real importance died in the explosion from last season the focus of the episode is stretched to the limit attempting to work in all the various storylines necessary to keep events moving forward.
"Watch It All Burn" also gives us infighting among the chem-barons and Sevika taking out one for Jinx, Ekko (Reed Shannon) and Heimerdinger (Mick Wingert) sneaking topside and starting a new storyline with Jayce (Kevin Alejandro), Viktor (Harry Lloyd) awakening and leaving Piltover to become a prophet to those in Zaun and put his transformation to use, and the introduction of a new character orphan Isha (Lucy Lowe) who is saved by Jinx and begins following her around. That turns out to be a fair amount for the episode to juggle, and quite a lot to take attention away from Jinx. And, in some cases, also removing attention from the undercity which doesn't get the full episode focus that Piltover got in the season premiere.
