Another anthology issue offers three more stories of Spider-Man wearing the black suit which looks terrific in each of the stories presented here. Still new to the suit, in "The Edge of Rage" Spider-Man loses control with Morbius, beating him unconscious, and also later threatening Flash Thompson. We witness his recognition and shame for events but we also see the symbiote's interest in Peter giving into his darker impulses.
In "Burgers, Fries and Blood" Peter's rooftop meal is interrupted by Daredevil chasing down Bullseye and helping the hero recover what his nemesis has stolen. And in "Shock and Awe," after getting knocked unconscious while fighting the Shocker, the symbiote takes over for Peter who comes to and has to fight to gain back control of his body and stop the symbiote from killing the villain (who it turns out was impressed by Spidey's new murderous streak) to permanently end the threat.
