Billy's internal battle versus the Captain comes to an end, and it's a good thing because the world being invaded by monsters needs all the heroes it can get. The finale of the arc reveals that the Captain is just an older and wiser, but not necessarily more intelligent, version of Billy Batson. Realizing he's been fighting himself, and not some entity created by the gods, Billy speaks the magic word and gets back to work and helps push the invading monsters back to the underworld.
Along with getting Billy back on track the issue is also notable for Freddy Freeman finding an artifact on the Rock of Eternity and speaking the magic word at the same time. Now once again infused with magic, it looks like Freddy's story is the one that will be focused on in the fallout of the arc. Just what's in store for Captain Jr.? Sadly, no bunnies were hit by magical lightning in all of this as once again we wait for Hoppy to get his moment in the sun.
