An Absolute Power tie-in issue, Wonder Woman #11 opens with Diana playing poker with an add assortment of characters including Billy Batson, Detective Chimp, John Constantine, Mary Bromfield, Madame Xanadu, and Jim Corrigan. Some robot, randomly quoting Charles Dickens attacks the group stealing power and magic from various characters as it continues to get stronger.
As this is a tie-in issue to a crossover I have no real interest in or plans on reading, I'm far from the target audience for Wonder Woman #11. What I will say is the issue does not stand on its own. While there's some fun to be had in the first few panels of this group of characters interacting before the attack, and there's plenty of action following it showing up, there's just not enough story for this comic to work outside of the main event title (or provide enough context to make me interested in seeking out the event comic to make sense of it).
