Having found them, Scarlett attempts to earn a place within Arashikage. First, that means staying alive and continuing to show off skills that might be useful to the clan. Second, that means accepting a suicide mission to retrieve something vital to the clan under impossible security. But for Jinx, Scarlett is willing to risk everything.
Scarlett #2 follows up the strong first issue with more of the same. Scarlett breaking out of her cell within Arashikage impresses Hard Master and Storm Shadow and earns her a chance to prove he worth on a mission no one believes she can survive. There's plenty of solid action here (with the ninjas falling to Scarlett in a way that reminds me of classic TMNT comics) and her big mission is just getting underway ending on a cliffhanger with plenty of questions still be answered about what Arashikage is after, what Jinx is doing, and how Scarlett is going to manage to get out of this alive.
