"Brothers" and "Halfway Home" continue the series theme of bringing the Nublar Six back together as Darius (Paul-Mikél Williams) attempts to convince Kenji (Darren Barnet) of the dangers hunting them and Sammy (Raini Rodriguez) and Ben (Sean Giambrone) head out to get Yaz. The Darius/Kenji storyline focuses on questions and blame concerning Brooklyn's death. After discovering she visited Kenji's father shortly before her messy end, the pair meet with Daniel Kon (Andrew Kishino), who meets a gruesome fate of his own after attempting to blackmail his son (karma?), leading to even more discoveries and questions as to what Brooklyn was up to in the days before the dinosaur attack.
As for Ben and Sammy, it will be another episode before the meet up with Yaz. On their way,they will stop at a roadside dinosaur attraction and decide to take action against the owner of King Dino's Prehistoric Playland and his unethical treatment of his attractions which leads to chaos and stampeding dinos before the pair return to the road. While mostly filler, this does give time for Ben and Sammy to bond again and set up Sammy's worry over Yaz which will play into the following episode of the series.
