The third issue of the series is more interesting in its flashbacks than the present where we don't see much advancement to the story other than Clint Barton feeling some enhanced anger since the symbiote saved his life and being haunted by its thoughts which don't have a high opinion of the man or his current plans (on his plans, the symbiote has a point).
In its flashbacks, not only do we get some hints about Hawkeye's past with Damon Dran but more importantly we see Hawkeye (ever bit the loose canon he is in the present) making a run at someone he shouldn't only to run into Iron Man. The confrontation between the pair, both in more classic versions of their costumes is fun, as are Hawkeye's antics after beating old Shellhead. Natasha doesn't get much to do (other than worry about Clint - although from the end of the issue she certainly has reason to do so).
