Charles (Justin Chien) spends time with his mother (Michelle Yeoh) after Bruce (Sam Song Li) goes missing from school, learning her way of doing things and, thanks to some insight from other women including including Alexis (Highdee Kuan), how to decipher what she wants from him. As for Bruce, despite a bit of torture, he manages to make an ally out of June (Alice Hewkin) convincing her that he and Charles are not responsible for her sister's death.
Humor and torture don't really fit together all that well, and the sequnces involving Bruce's capture struggle a bit finding the right tone. That said, with June signing up for action and Charles finding a way to use Alexis' connection to his advantage, we may see the women continue to get larger roles as the series continues. The best moment from the episode involves Charles kicking the ass of several guards in the parking lot of a restaurant with ties to the family's enemies, shown mostly on security monitors, while Mama talks casually to the man in charge allowing Charles to then get to work later that night.
