As the countdown to the end of the world ticks ever closer Vince and his friends hit the local water park for some old fashioned fun that doesn't go exactly as planned. Nights #5 continues the mix of dark themes and foreboding with humorous moments such as Gray teasing Vince about missing his chance at mouth-to-mouth or an example of even the dead having trouble with computer games.
The fifth issue is most notable for the sequences within Gary's mind where she comes across a devilish young girl whose identity she slowly comes to understand.
These sequences also explain the existence of a darker evil out their known as Gabriel who it sounds like is to be the big bad of the series and is apparently directly connected to Vince's crush. As the clock ticks down, how will Gray use what she learned and how soon before we see a confrontation with Gabriel?
