Superman Saturday takes us to the Old West. In the ongoing larger arc involving Superman being forced to team with Lex Luthor, we get this delightful little one-issue adventure where Superman finds himself transported to the past. With his powers slowly being recharged, Superman rides through the Old West with Marilyn Moonlight to avenge recent deaths out on the prairie.
Other than the opening and closing, which no doubt would make more sense if you've been following the storyline since its inception, the bulk of Superman #10 can be enjoyed on its own. It's fun to see Superman in the Old West, tracking down time traveling villain Terra-Man and even getting a stare down between the two on main street. Things get a bit weird when Superman returns to the present, but for a single issue there's quite a bit to enjoy including a short origin story for the mysterious Marilyn Moonlight.
