With the first two episodes of the series relying heavily on backstory and set-up, events pick up the third episode of Andor which brings together Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and Rebel Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård) who may be interested in the drive Cassian is selling but is actually far more interested in the thief for a dangerous mission already under way. The pair are interrupted by the arrival of the corporate troops leading to an extended stunt sequence in a factory (which feels very much like a stunt sequence inside a factory laid out for maximum action and chaos once the blaster bolts begin firing back and forth).
We get more flashbacks to Cassian's childhood when he was found on the crashed ship by Maarva (Fiona Shaw), explaining the pair's connection, although for the amount of time spent on these scenes still has yet to offer a payoff. There are some nice choices made throughout the episode including the locals banging on pipes as warning for the arrival of the corporate goons, which builds tension until the eerie silence replaces it, and Cassian and Luthen's escape from the soldiers giving them some time on Luthen's ship to offer the thief a chance to fight the Empire on a dangerous mission.
