Bogart & Bacall - 6 Film Collection

Similar to the previously released Signature Collection DVD set, Bogart & Bacall - 6 Film Collection recollects all four of those films featuring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall (To Have and Have Not, Dark Passage, Key Largo, and The Big Sleep) along with the addition of two movies, each featuring one of the two stars: The Maltese Falcon and Designing Women. The latter being the far weaker of the two additions.

If you don't already on these films you can't really go wrong for only $25. To Have and Have Not (the first pairing of the two on screen), The Big Sleep and The Maltese Falcon (two terrific examples of 40s noir) are all classics worth having on your DVD shelf. Key Largo and Dark Passage also work by playing heavily on the obvious chemistry between the two leads.

As with collections of this type, some extras are included on the single discs of each film, but not necessarily all the extensive extras and featurettes you might find on other versions.
