Moon Knight #5
Moon Knight #5 concludes the series' introductory arc as Moon Knight and Marlene make it to the pyramid only to be confronted by... Moon Knight? Issue #5 is a bizarre end to a bizarre opening arc. Once again we're unsure about the reality of what Marc Spector is experiencing. Taking his experience as real (or at least real to him) the comic does reveal the entity behind his recent torture to not be Seth but Khonshu who wants something from Marc he is unwilling to give up.
Featuring a bizarre run through the pyramid that becomes a journey through the various lives and identities Moon Knight has led over the years, the journey finally brings Marc face-to-face with his God who now wants more than just his allegiance. Khoshu wants his body.
The end of the issue is equally quizzical as Marc seemingly awakes from a nightmare back in the guise of one of his many identities. How much of the mental institution (if any of it) was real? How will Khoshu react to loosing his prize? And what's Moon Knight's role in the world now? Worth a look.
[Marvel, $3.99]
