Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Ten #30
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Ten comes to a close by concluding the "Own It" story arc and having the Scoobies come together once more to stop a big bad. In the battle against D'Hoffryn our heroes find an unexpected ally as the vengeance demon discovers he may have made the new Anya a little too well. Granting her boss' wish, Anya is able not only to satiate her own need for vengeance but also give Buffy and her pals a fighting chance.
Following the Scoobies chasing down the no-longer all-powerful D'Hoffryn, much of the issue is epilogue that resets the status quo heading into the next comic series. This includes the return of Xander, a cameo from Dracula, and the setting up of a new magic council.
A bit too reminiscent to the splintering and coming back together of Buffy and friends in Season Four, Season Ten does end on a high note with Buffy victorious not only over the villain but also her own doubts and fears concerning an new slew of responsibilities. Worth a look.
