Longmire - Four Arrows
Following a self-imposed exile during an investigation into the Barlow Connally (Gerald McRaney), Walt (Robert Taylor) returns to work to find Vic (Katee Sackhoff) a little too chummy with a deputy (Josh Cooke) on loan from the next county and a new murder to solve during the opening weekend of the new casino. Despite his investigation into Jacob Nighthorse (A Martinez) being finished, Walt's investigation into a body stuffed into a luggage bag on a tour bus headed to the casino does nothing to help calm the tensions between the pair.
"Four Arrows" is the first episode following the murder mystery that has loomed over the entire series finally being solved. With an extended opening montage giving us a glimpse into Walt's time off we also see an important first step for the local sheriff removing his wife's greeting from his answering machine. That plus his obvious jealousy at Vic's new friendship may mean Walt is finally ready for a new romance. The episode also continues Henry's (Lou Diamond Phillips) new hobby of taking over for Hector by helping a battered woman and her child escape from her abusive husband.
