House of Lies - Soldiers

The constant merry-go-round of the show's Third Season continues as Monica (Dawn Olivieri) is fired for creating the hostile work environment that got her stabbed and Clyde (Ben Schwartz), trying to get in back in Marty's (Don Cheadle) good graces and back with the old gang, looks to land a potentially huge client (Eliza Coupe) in a sexually promiscuous and potentially crazy former owner of huge website empire who also may just be his soul mate.

Meanwhile Marty gathers Jeannie (Kristen Bell) and Doug (Josh Lawson) together for a golfing trip with his new client, and best new pal, Dre (Mekhi Phifer). The pair's bromance, which includes Marty and Roscoe having dinner with Dre's family, has not gone unnoticed except perhaps to Dre's thuggish business partner (T.I.) who Marty Kaan and Associates begin to show the door with some clever maneuvering.

While laying the final piece of the puzzle to get the entire Pod back together again under one roof, I was more interested in Clyde's potential relationship with Marissa than having him eventually go back to work for Marty. The episode also continues Doug's potential father anxiety which leads to the analyst withholding orgasms from his wife and inappropriately discussing hardons and jerking off with anyone who will listen. Oddly, it's Clyde's sound advice that allows Doug to finally accept the situation.
