Once Upon a Time - Quite a Common Fairy

Needing help to find Peter Pan's (Robbie Kay) secret camp and rescue Henry (Jared Gilmore), and discovering Emma's (Jennifer Morrison) map is doing nothing but leading the group in circles, Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) suggests going to Tinker Bell (Rose McIver) for help. However, Regina's (Lana Parrilla) past with the fairy, which we view in a series of flashbacks involving Tinker Bell being defrocked by the Blue Fairy (Keegan Connor Tracy) for her attempt to save the wicked queen, makes that a complicated proposition.

Much like the show's version of Peter Pan, Tinker Bell is a much darker figure that Disney fans would recognize, although we see the more upbeat and hopeful version in the flashbacks where she risks everything to help a woman whose refusal to accept that help costs Tinker Bell her world and Regina her one chance at a happy ending. Even after leaving Neverland it would appear the two definitely have some unfinished business.

When they meet a second time the defrocked fairy ends up with the witch's black heart in her hand but choices not to kill the woman who cost her both her wings and magic. Even after sparing Regina's life Tinker Bell initially refuses to help, but when Emma and Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) offer to take the fallen fairy with them when them when they leave Neverland and give her a real home, Tinker Bell decides to grab her slim chance at happiness and agrees to led them to Pan's camp.

In order to find his own way to Neverland, Neal (Michael Raymond-James) uses Robin Hood's (Sean Maguire) son as bait and ride a shadow all the way to Neverland. After realizing she can not be with the one (Sarah Bolger) she loves, a dejected Mulan (Jamie Chung) decides to accept Robin Hood's offer and join his Merry Men. With Neal in Neverland and Tinker Bell helping the group into Pan's camp "Quite a Common Fairy" sets up a battle for Henry, but will they be too late as the former fairy fears?
