Graceland - O-Mouth

After watching Eddie (Sheaun McKinney) blow his own brains out on Bello's (Gbenga Akinnagbe) orders, Mike (Aaron Tveit) continues to work his way closer to California’s primary heroin supplier, both for Graceland and to test Badillo's (Pedro Pascal) theory that Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) is taking a cut of heroin busts for himself for purposes unknown. Working his way into Bello's trust by playing on the supplier's love of cowboys and old western movies, Mike earns a new prestigious spot in the organization as the man's bodyguard. Mike, much to Paige (Serinda Swan) and Tuturro (Manny Montana) amusement, also continues his burgeoning relationship with Abby (Jenn Proske) who now believes the undercover agent is a pilot thanks to Tuturro talking his friend up in the local bar.

Charlie (Vanessa Ferlito) and Briggs' old passions reignite while the pair work to sell their cover with a mid-level drug dealer () in order to learn more about a mysterious new drug supplier named Odin. When their meet goes south due to Odin's paranoia, Charlie has to rely on the help of her former informant (Christopher Redman) whose addiction puts both himself and the operation in jeopardy, the outcome of which forces Charlie into a bad decision try try and save herself and Briggs from a no-win situation.

The reveal of a previous Briggs/Charlie relationship provides more fun for Tuturro and Paige who really spend most of the episode on the sidelines teasing Mike and making side bets on the possibility of their teammates getting back together. Although momentarily tempted, Charlie and Briggs know to leave the past in the past (even if they make Tuturro believe something completely different). Charlie's reaction to the death of her former CI shows us another instance of her taking things too far when her emotions get the better of her. Her choice to shoot-up may have kept the operation alive, but its likely to have more serious fallout for both Charlie and the rest of the team as well.
