When he realizes that the rest of the Titans won't fall for anymore of his pranks, Beast Boy (Greg Cipes) turns to the team's most gullible member by making Starfire (Hynden Walch) believe she has accidentally killed her teammate. To further torment the Tamaran princess, Beast Boy decides to begin haunting Starfire as his ghost.
When the rest of the team discovers what Beast Boy has done they decide to have some fun of their own by acting as if their friend is actually dead. Just like Beast Boy's plan, the prank eventually backfires as the Titan decides to fulfill a lifelong dream of jumping into a volcano. Trying to stop their friend cost each member their lives as the episode ends with each member of the team becoming an actual ghost.
"Ghost Boy" is a fun, and ever-increasing goofy, episode which kills off each of the team in a ridiculous manner as Raven (Tara Strong) and Starfire are both killed by the volcano's stray laser beams, Cyborg (Khary Payton) is mauled by a mountain lion he mistakes for his best friend, and Robin (Scott Menville) falls to his death while showing off his acrobatic skills (despite the fact that either of his flying teammates could have caught him before he plunged to his death).
