Doctor Who - Series 7 (Part Two)

In both "The Crimson Horror" and the finale "The Name of The Doctor" the show brings back the characters of Madame Vastra (Neve McIntosh), Jenny Flint (Catrin Stewart), and their Sontaran butler Strax (Dan Starkey) as The Doctor returns to Victorian England and makes a trip to the one place no time traveler should ever go - his grave on the fields of Trenzalore.
Although there are no real stinkers in this collection several of the episodes don't live up to their potential. That said, Coleman is a terrific choice of companion, all of the episodes are entertaining, and the second-half Series 7 goes out on a high note with clever nods to the various other incarnations of The Doctor, including the introduction of John Hurt as another, darker, version of the character heading into the show's 50th anniversary special.
The two-disc Blu-ray includes all eight episodes from the second-half of Series 7 along with the short "The Bells of Saint John - A Prequel" short setting up the second-half of Series 7 and the introduction of Clara as The Doctor's latest companion.
