In the show's Second Season finale the Pod shows up for their final day working for Galweather Stern where Clyde (Ben Schwartz) begins to freak-out after hearing the news that Marty (Don Cheadle) has dumped Carlson (Mather Zickel) in favor of Pinkus (Kevin Dobson) which jeopardizes the deal he has been working on with the Dushkin brothers (Evan Hart, Alex Dushkin). With nowhere else to turn and vent his frustration Clyde makes a questionable decision over lunch with Monica (Dawn Olivieri).
After arriving in Las Vegas the group gathers for Doug (Josh Lawson) and Sarah's (Jenny Slate) wedding after a misunderstanding the night before leads Sarah to believe Doug proposed to her in a crowded restaurant. During the unorthodox Vegas wedding the truth comes out, but not from who you would expect as Doug learns his bride-to-be was behind the entire mix-up proposal.
No part of the evening goes as planned for Marty when he finds all his files erased, blows off a hurt Jeannie's (Kristen Bell) attempts to tell him her true feelings as nothing more than a schoolgirl crush, learns Doug (and every other member of the Pod) has decided not to join him to his new shop, and gets into a fist-fight with Carlson during Doug and Sarah's wedding dinner when the crazy billionaire shows up for revenge after being tipped off to the Pinkus deal by Clyde.
As the episode comes to a close Marty gets his deal, and spacious new offices which he shows off to Jeremiah (Glynn Turman) and Roscoe (Donis Leonard Jr.), but with Clyde going to work for Monica, Jeannie unwilling to take his calls, and Doug staying at Galweather Stern, his victory feels more than a little hollow. The Second Season certainly ends on a cliffhanger with the futures of several characters up in the air, and you would expect more repercussions from Marty leaving Galweather when the show returns next season.
