Carter (Taraji P. Henson) works to keep Special Agent Donnelly (Brennan Brown) from discovering Reese's (Jim Caviezel) true identity while agreeing to interrogate the four suspects to find the man in the suit. Left to his own devices, Finch (Michael Emerson) relies on the help of Detective Fusco (Kevin Chapman) to protect the latest number from The Machine (supermodel Karolina Kurková) while Finch looks for options to get Reese out of prison before his cover is blown.
On discovering that the CIA is closing in on someone he wants dead, our shadowy Washington insider (Jay O. Sanders) contacts his man in the field (Boris McGiver) to remove all four potentials of the operative they are looking for from play, permanently. As the warden begins to get antsy with how far Donnelly is bending the rules, Carter begins to separately interrogate Reese and the three other suspects (Brendan Griffin, Terry Serpico, Creighton James).
While taking a break from interrogation, and given an hour in the prison, yard Reese runs into an old friend. Elias (Enrico Colantoni) agrees to help keep Reese's secret and try to keep him alive before one of the men he put in prison or the assassin sent into the prison to kill anyone who might be the man in the suit finally gets around to him.
Although we get very little about the latest person of interest other than random, and mostly humorous, clips of Fusco saving a grateful supermodel from the Armenian mob, what we do get proves to be highly entertaining. Carter eventually manages to get a bruised and battered Reese released from custody, but Donnelly can't help but shake the feeling Reese is the man he's been hunting all this time. Finding Reese and Carter together confirms his suspension but before he can get any answers out of either one of them Stanton (Annie Parisse) arrives to kill the FBI agent and abduct Reese for her own nefarious purposes. Sadly, we'll have to wait three weeks to discover what those might entail.
