Nashville - I'm Sorry for You My Friend

After beginning with a few small shows to work out the kinks, Rayna (Connie Britton) and Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) prepare for the first arena concert of their tour and both have to deal with lingering issues with the men in their life. With the election too close to call Teddy (Eric Close) is still displeased his wife has decided to put all her energy into the tour, Rayna searches for a new lead guitar player, and Juliette struggles with her failed attempts to get Sean (Tilky Jones) to sign the divorce papers only to be served with subpoena to appear in family court for an annulment hearing.

Gunnar (Sam Palladio) takes a trip to Austin to be there for his brother (David Clayton Rogers) when he's released from prison after eight years while Scarlett (Clare Bowen), who is unaware of his family troubles, tags along to spend some time with Deacon (Charles Esten) whose tour has a stop in the city on the same night. With his contract talks stalled Avery (Jonathan Jackson) has to make a decision whether to throw his trust behind Marilyn (Rya Kihlstedt) who urges caution or Dominic (Wyclef Jean) who continues to wine and dine the impressionable young singer.

Rayna is pleasantly surprised by both Liam (Michiel Huisman) agreeing to fill-in for the first couple nights and his ability to handle Juliette, but less than thrilled by his insight on how scared she is to go on stage without Deacon. After the rock band's obnoxious lead singer (Daniel Buran) makes a move on Scarlett, Deacon quits (after throwing the man through a table). With both Rayna and Teddy's, who is Nashville's new mayor, stars on the rise things are getting a bit bumpy for Deacon and Juliette who will have to live with he consequences of their recent actions.
