Hal Jordan (Josh Keaton), Kilowog (Kevin Michael Richardson), and Aya (Grey DeLisle) head to the Blue Lantern homeworld to talk with Ganthet (Ian Abercrombie) about the menace of the Manhunters only to accidentally put the Blue Lanterns in jeopardy when the deactivate Manhunter they bring with them is brought back online when the the Blue Lantern Power Battery goes online.
Aya's reunion with Razer (Jason Spisak) is short-lived as his attitude to the Manhunters, and other artificial life forms, makes the android try to teach the Manhunter to think beyond its basic programming and evolve into something more. The arrival of three other Manhunters, supercharged by Blue Lantern Power Battery, puts the fledgling Corps at risk. Jordan and Kilowog help Saint Walker (Phil Morris) and his first recruit stop the Manhunters from stealing the Power Battery, but it's the quick thinking of Razer and a little help from Saint Walker's "pet" that saves the day.
Although the Lanterns are victorious, the looming threat of the Manhunters, and the effect the Power Battery has on them, forces Ganthet to shut down the Power Battery and put the rise of an army of Hope on hold, at least temporarily. Finding a way to use his rage for good, and admitting his feelings for Aya, Razer leaves the calm comfort of the Blue Lantern homeworld to join his friends on the search for more Manhunters and the Anti-Monitor.
