Franklin and Bash - Jango and Rossi

While representing one of Infeld's (Malcolm McDowell) ex-wives (Cybill Shepherd), Franklin (Breckin Meyer) and Bash (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) meet their match when they run into a pair of brash young lawyers (Seth GreenEric Mabius) who enjoy flamboyantly bending legal procedures for their own amusement almost as much as they do.

As the pair try to figure out how to paint the real dog's owner (Katie Walder) in a negative light Peter begins to wonder if the pair have sold out, just as opposing counsel accused them of. And thanks to a stunt worthy of Franklin and Bash, the pair find themselves in real danger of losing the case. But thanks to a little sleuthing by Carmen (Dana Davis) the lawyers have one more card left to play.

In the episode's B-story the unlikely pair of Damien (Reed Diamond) and Pindar (Kumail Nanjiani) work together on a robbery case where their client (Jack Kehler) robbed a local pizza joint by crafting a gun out of cheese. Given the publicity the man received for his crime what should be a simple plea to a lesser charge is complicated by the Assistant District Attorney (David Burke) assigned to the case hard-set to prosecute the man for a maximum sentence.

It was fun to see Robot Chicken pals Meyer and Green united on the show, especially as it allows Meyer to literally play the bigger man for the first time. Here's hoping we haven't seen the last of Jango and Rossi. Although the B-story isn't as strong, it does include a nice twist and prove Pindar and Damien make a good legal team (whether Damien wants to admit it or not).
