Bones (Emily Deschanel) returns to work full-time for first time since the baby's birth to help Booth (David Boreanaz) investigate the remains of a body (Janelle Inez) dragged for miles by a semi-truck. Meanwhile, Cam (Tamara Taylor) grows concerned by the obvious initial attraction between Michelle (Tiffany Hines) and Finn (Luke Kleintank).
By backtracking the trucker's (Brandon Molale) route Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) is able to narrow down where the victim was killed. Booth learns more about the coupon obsessed victim from her husband and in the places she shopped including those who work (Mark Saul, Mary Pat Gleason) and shop (Missy Doty) at the grocery store in which she was killed.
Personal stories take precedence over the mystery of the week as both Bones and Angela (Michaela Conlin) deal with being separated from their young children while at work and Cam's struggles with her dislike of her daughter dating on of the Jeffersonian interns, especially one with a violent past. It's an okay episode, but I would have preferred a little more Hodgins' personal brand of lab insanity and a little less focus on mothers and their daughters.
