To help out Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) who is still angry about the new Subway that went in the Greendale cafeterium over her proposed sandwich shop, Britta (Gillian Jacobs) and Pierce (Chevy Chase) agree to get the truth behind the corporation's "corpo-humanoid" who has legally changed his name to Subway and enrolled as a Greendale student.
Vice Dean Laybourne (John Goodman) returns to turn Troy (Donald Glover) against Abed (Danny Pudi) in hopes that it will get him to reconsider joining the Air Conditioning Repair School. What it does build competing blanket and pillow forts that ends in a near riot with both groups unwilling to back down.
And Jeff (Joel McHale) discovers he's had a school locker for three years and never known about where he finds a hate letter he believes is from a female student who died shortly after leaving him the note. With Annie's (Alison Brie) help he tries to come to terms with his selfishness, with mixed results.
A fun episode that gives us a couple of nice twists in Jeff's storyline and another Annie going ballistic moment. And Britta falling in love with the sensitive corporate stooge, though far too obvious, provides some fun moments as well. The return to the blanket fort storyline isn't as much fun as the first time around (which is referenced). I'm not sure we need two-parter for any of these stories, but I'm willing to wait and see how things resolve next week.
