Only days before their wedding Chuck (Zachary Levi) and (Yvonne Strahovski), with the help of Casey (Adam Baldwin), set out to save Chuck's mom (Linda Hamilton) from Vivian Volkoff (Lauren Cohan).
Good episode all around including Jeff (Scott Krinsky) and Lester's (Vik Sahay) video for the happy couple's rehearsal dinner, an important realization by Morgan (Joshua Gomez), and Casey providing the episode's best line as he wants no part of the building tension between Chucks' mom and Sarah (which, since it's spoiler free, I've decided to use for the clip below).
But it's the last-minute twist that's going to be sticking with me for a full week until the season's (and hopefully not the series') finale. Vivian reaches out to enact her revenge by taking something from the family which, in her mind, has taken everything from her. Wow. Talk about an unexpected sucker punch straight to the gut. Just, wow. I hope Chuck makes it back for its fifth season, but either way I'm sure next week's finale will end with a bang. But I wouldn't expect anything less from what's become consistently one of my favorite shows on television.
